The scene that I analyzed was from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining  is of Danny Torrence riding his Big Wheel down the halls of the Overlook hotel, to which he suddenly finds himself wound up in a haunting before his eyes. The scene unravels with an tracking shot of Danny on his big wheel, although the composition is an extreme long shot that eventually closes in to a medium close up as Danny reaches his stop. Once at the stop, the camera cuts to a close up of Danny's face, which is reacting to the apparition before him. Following, the editing of the scene follows a reverse action style from the point of view of Danny Torrence and the two young girls. Although, throughout the reverse action the composition of the girls begin with a long shot and closes in to a medium close up between each reverse action shot as it corresponds to the chants "Come play with us Danny. Forever. Forever...". Finally, the most interesting editing of the scene is the jump cut of the two young
